29 schemes for Mardan approved

MARDAN, Oct 23: The District Development Committee (DDC) of Mardan has approved 29 development schemes under the Tameer Sarhad Programme (TSP) worth Rs11.39 million from the funds of MPAs Naeema Kishwar and Tajul Amin Jabbal.

A meeting of the DDC held here under the chairmanship of District Coordination Officer Khalid Hussein and was attended by directors public works, finance and planning and heads of other relevant departments of Mardan district.

The meeting approved 29 schemes including repair and construction of streets, drainages and supply of electricity in various union councils mostly in Takhtbai Tehsil. “Naeema Kishwar is a resident of Gujjar Garhi and was elected on Jammat-i-Islami’s women ticket while Tajul Amin Jabbal was elected on Jammiatul Ulam-i-Islam ticket from PF 29.”

These schemes would be completed at Gujjar Garhi, Jehangirabad, Sri Behlol, Kot Jungara, Pat Baba, Damani Koh, Saro Shah, Narai, Madey Baba, Pir Sado, Jalala, Shergarh, Hatian, Parkho, Makori, Lund Khwar and Mian Isa.

All these schemes would be completed only from the funds of Naeema Kiswar and Tajul Amin Jabbal. —Correspondent
