GWADAR: Former member of the Election Commission of Pakistan from Balochistan retired Justice Shakeel Ahmed Baloch has joined the National Party (NP).

Speaking at a press conference, along with NP President Dr Abdul Malik Baloch in Turbat on Thursday, Shakeel Baloch said he had started his political career in 1970 from the platform of Baloch Students Organisation.

Retd Justice Baloch, who also served as a judge of the Balochistan High Court, said the NP was only political party which could create awareness among the people about protection of the coast and resources of Balochistan.
