KARACHI, Oct 23: The Sindh Executive Council of the Pakistan People’s Party held a meeting, chaired by Qaim Ali Shah, on Saturday. It criticized the government for its failure in providing timely relief and medical treatment to quake-hit people which, it claimed, led to death of several thousand people.

It praised people of Sindh for their overwhelmingly response with assistance in man and material for the October and victims. It reiterated the resolve that the party would continue to extend all possible help to the suffering humanity in the calamity-hit areas.

The meeting was told that two truckloads of relief goods were being sent every day to various quake-hit areas.
