Pre-national from today

KARACHI, Jan 22: The Red and White Pre-National Snooker championship starts at the Indus Snooker Club here Wednesday (Jan 23).

In all eighty players are taking part in the championship. Sixteen each from four province, besides sixteen ranking players. These sixteen ranking players will be drawn from the list of thirty two ranking players — seventeen onwards.

In all forty matches will be played on the opening day.

The pre-national championship will be held under league system and will conclude on Jan 26, a day before the start of national championship

Thirty two players from the pre-national championship will be qualified for the national championship which will be held at KPT Sports Complex.—APP
