PESHAWAR, Oct 22: President Awami National Party Asfandyar Wali Khan has expressed concern over armed attack on the house of former chief minister of Balochistan Sardar Attaullah Khan Mengal and demanded that the government should probe into the matter and bring the culprits to justice.

In a statement issued on Saturday, ANP’s chief said that it was dangerous for the whole region to pitch tribesmen against one another and achieve political gain. This attitude could engulf the entire region, he said.

He said that some narrow-minded and prejudiced elements among the ruling elites were arming and instigating the tribesmen against their opponents.
