KARACHI: PMA to bring more victims

KARACHI, Oct 21: The Pakistan Medical Association is making arrangements for shifting more patients from earthquake-hit areas to Karachi. They would then be admitted to different public and private hospitals.

In a statement issued here on Friday, PMA Karachi General-Secretary Dr Qaiser Sajjad said PMA had already shifted 24 patients with multiple injuries to different private hospitals in Karachi after bring them here by an especially chartered flight on October 19.

About 25 doctors have been working round the clock to provide relief to suffering population under the supervision of Dr Sher Shah Syed, General Secretary of the PMA Centre.—PPI
