KARACHI, Oct 21: Five vessels carrying DAP fertilizer, crude oil and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Iran Shahryar, Kota Waris, APL Orchid, to unload and load containers, Golden Falcon, Chang Lemen to unload and load general cargo and Helene Selmar, to offload coal were berthed after the departure of seven.

The departed ships included Maerks Arizona, Hyundai Sprinter, Y.M. Fortune, Sea Blessing, Malto Blossom, APL Orchid and Sichem Caribean, while Norasia Polris, Clio, Lyeyi, Kota Teguh, Wan Hai-266, Great Morning and Eax Sanctity are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 84,032 tons comprising 15,636 tons of export cargo and 68,396 tons of import tonnage was handled. The following ships are due on Saturday: Dary Shakti, with 42,000 tons of steel, Johar, with 65,264 tons of crude oil, Wester Muehlen, Selcon, with containers and Daya Hai, with 42,471 tons of DAP fertilizer.
