LAHORE: A young woman was reportedly found dead in a call centre in Muslim Town under mysterious circumstances here on Wednesday.

Identified as ‘S’, the woman was said to be the owner of the call centre.

A police official said some call centre employees informed the police after they found it closed for four consecutive days, while the owner was not attending their phone calls.

He said the woman’s body was found lying on a sofa, and seemed to be around four days old.

The cause of her death was yet to be ascertained and the body had been shifted to the city morgue for autopsy, he added.

He said the police were trying to contact the family or relatives of the deceased.

To a question, he said the forensic experts had started the crime scene analysis to find out whether the woman committed suicide or was killed by someone.
