Ashraf Ali hammers unbeaten hundred

KARACHI, Oct 19: Opener Ashraf Ali blasted an unbeaten hundred and Mohammad Zafar hammered 80 not out as Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) crushed Delhi City Gymkhana (DCG) by ten wickets in group “A” match of 20th Karachi Gymkhana Ramazan cricket tournament at KG Ground on Wednesday.

Ashraf banged 11 boundaries and five sixes in 105 off just 63 balls while Muhammad Zafar scored his runs off 57 balls with the aid of eight eights and three sixes as SSGC reached the target in 20th over.

Earlier, batting first Delhi City Gymkhana managed 187 for eight wickets in their 25 overs with opener Usman Farhat making 80 in 69 balls with the aid of five boundaries and as many sixes.

Off-spinner Haris Ayaz caused the main damage with four wickets for 23 runs in five overs.
