KARACHI, Oct 19: Pakistan’s charismatic cricketer, Shahid Afridi, on Wednesday launched “Shahid Afridi Relief Camps” in various localities of the city to raise funds for the earthquake victims.

Holder of world’s fastest hundred as well as the hitter of most sixes in one-dayers, Shahid Afridi, has appealed to everyone to donate generously for the people affected by the catastrophic earthquake.

Shahid told Dawn that it was a noble cause and as a Pakistani he felt duty bound to do whatever possible in his humble capacity to ease the sufferings of millions of the people left homeless by the earthquake.

Donations in shape of cash could be handed at Afridi Motors, Old Sabzi Mandi, (Coordinator Mushtaq Afridi) and The Metropolitan Academies, Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Naseerabad Campus Federal “B” Area (Coordinator Mr Faisal Rizwan).
