OKARA: Up to 90 activists of the Tehreek-i-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) who were detained for 30 days under section 3(1) of the Maintenance of Public Order of 1960, were released on Thursday.

However, the police rearrested several activists at the jail gate who are nominated in other cases. The exact number of the re-arrested TLP men could not be ascertained.

KIDNAP CASE: Seven people, including five armed people, have beennominated in a case for kidnappinga 18-year-old woman from village Jhedu.

Complainant Mehran Bibi said that late on April 12, Waqar Gomi, Ali Hasan, Hussain, Jafar, and Nazia with two unidentified peopleentered her house and took away her daughter Nasreen.

The Ravipolice registered the case u/s 365-B of the PPC.
