MOHMAND: A young worker died when a huge marble rock fell on him from a crane at a marble unit in Mamadgat area of Mohmand tribal district on Tuesday.
Rescue 1122 officials said that the incident occurred when a huge rock of marble was being shifted for cutting in the unit.
The body was taken out from under the rock after hectic efforts.
The victim was identified as Zabit Khan, 20, a resident of Mamadgat area of Safi tehsil.
The body was shifted to a local hospital. Later, the deceased was laid to rest in his village graveyard.
