Water shortage

Published April 16, 2021

BLOCK 4-A of Gulshan-i-Iqbal, off Abul Hassan Ispahani Road, has been facing an acute shortage of water for quite some time. We do not expect water supply on a daily basis. That is unthinkable. It is supplied to us on alternate days, but now even that schedule has gone haywire.

The day of supply often goes dry, and when it is supplied the next day the pressure is low and the duration short. We cannot afford a tanker for Rs2,500 every week. We request the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board to please have mercy on us during Ramazan.
