On the other hand, adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister, Nusrat Aziz, rushed to the hospital and assured the protesters of proper action.
Later, the protesters blocked the Bunder Road for about two hours by putting the body of the deceased on the road.
Chanting slogans against the doctors and other staff of the hospital, they alleged they were responsible for the death of Naseeruddin.
They said that the duty doctors never attend the patients rather the task is assigned to the nurses, ward boys and sweepers.
They demanded of the Sindh chief minister and provincial health minister to take action against the responsible doctors.
In the meantime, nurses of the civil hospital, Sukkur, also staged a protest demonstration, after boycotting their duties and demanded arrest of the persons for maltreating the hospital staff.
