Local bodies

Published April 14, 2021

THE Supreme Court has restored the local bodies system in Punjab, which is a remarkable verdict because it is the ideal system to address the issues of the common man, like sanitation, clean drinking water, birth and death registration, etc.

This system can bring a positive change if it is financially empowered. After all, community development is the best way to serve the masses. This system must be allowed to work in the country if Pakistan wants to make real progress.
