Tax officials’ conferences

ISLAMABAD, Oct 18: Quarterly conferences of collectors of sales tax and federal excise, collectors of customs, commissioners of income tax (appeals), collectors (appeal) and regional commissioners of income tax, director generals and IT commissioners will be held from October 22 to 29.

An official announcement here on Tuesday stated that the conferences, to be headed by CBR Chairman M. Abdullah Yusuf, would review the performance of collectorates and commissionerates in the first quarter of the current financial year, future strategy for achieving the revenue targets.
