Army promotion board elevates brigadiers

ISLAMABAD: The promotion board at its meeting held at the General Headquarters on Friday with Chief of the Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa in the chair elevated the following brigadiers to the position of major generals.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, those promoted were Brig Sheharyar Parvez Butt, Brig Omar Maqbool, Brig Muhammad Asim Khan, Brig Ghulam Muhammad, Brig Muhammad Nadeem Ashraf, Brig Amer Ashfaq Kayani, Brig Muhammad Imtanan Babar, Brig Abdul Sami, Brig Umar Ahmad Shah, Brig Muhammad Shahid Siddeeq, Brig Muhammad Farhan Yousaf, Brig Muneer Ud Din, Brig Muhammad Irfan Khan, Brig Noor Wali Khan, Brig Kamal Anwar Chaudhry, Brig Salman Moin, Brig Naseem Anwer, Brig Malik Amir Muhammad Khan, Brig Adnan Sarwar Malik, Brig Mohammad Qaddafi, Brig Muhammad Naeem Akhtar, Brig Muhammad Shahab Aslam, Brig Nadeem Yousaf, Brig Farrukh Shahzad Rao and Brig Khurram Nisar.

Those approved from AMC were Brig Iftikhar Ahmed Satti, Brig Syed Adil Hussanain, Brig Mrs Qamar Un Nisa Choudhry, Brig Irfan Ali Mirza, Brig Muhammad Rafiq Zafar, Brig Muhammad Waseem, Brig Muhammad Suhail Amin, Brig Naseer Ahmad Samore, Brig Mrs Shazia Nisar, Brig Eijaz Ghani, Brig Arshad Naseem and Brig Nadeem Ahmad Rana.
