KARACHI: PPP sends more consignments

KARACHI, Oct 14: The Pakistan People’s Party on Friday despatched 16 more trucks loaded with relief goods to Bagh, Dheerkot, Rawalakot, Thub, Batal, Bufa, Mansehra and other affected areas in Azad Kashmir and the NWFP.

It has mobilised the party’s organizational cadre in the AJK for ensuring that relief gets were distributed among the needy without any delay or discrimination.

The collection and distribution of relief goods was being centrally monitored by the provincial and central secretariats of the PPP. A meeting was held at the PPP’s central secretariat in Islamabad. It was attended by Ch Yasin, General Secretary PPP-AJK.

On Thursday, five trucks loaded with relief goods were despatched to Bagh, Rawalakot and Muzaffarabad arranged by Secretary General PPP in Lahore.

The PPP-AJK was coordinating with the central secretariat relief goods distribution.
