LAHORE, Oct 13: Two Omani air force C-130 transport planes landed in the Punjab capital on Thursday evening, bringing relief goods. An airport official said that one more Omanese C-130 was likely to reach here while a Singaporean aircraft would also arrive here on Friday with a similar consignment.

He further said that some of the cargo planes had been directed to land at Lahore due to heavy air traffic rush at Chaklala airport.

The officials further said that Indian authorities had sent 16,000 blankets via Wagah.

Meanwhile, according to Foreign Office’s Lahore camp five citizens of Azad Kashmir who had travelled to Indian-held Kashmir through Muzzafarabad-Srinagar bus service have returned home via Wagah.

At the same time, five Indian Kashmiris were allowed to return to their land from the same check post.—APP
