Gardening is a creative and fruitful hobby. If you are passionate about gardening, you surely know how lovely it feels when you see your plants growing. It encourages you to plant more and you think of decorating the plants in several ways, such as adding small mushrooms and stones to your little garden and repotting them in stylish and unusual pots.

Today, I am bringing to you a unique way of repotting your favourite plant. The pot we are creating is from a used plastic bottle and it will be more suitable for indoor plants as the pot is best suited inside the house, on the table or on the shelf.

Things you need:

  1. Plant

  2. Soil

  3. Some stones (lime stones or small pebbles)

  4. Paper cutter or scissors

  5. A useless CD

  6. Marker

  7. Plastic bottle (one large 1 or 1.5 litre)

  8. Spray paint/acrylic colour (optional)

  9. Hot glue

Directions:

  1. A bottle has three parts, top, middle and bottom. Mark the bottle between top and middle, see picture 2.

  2. Cut this part out from the plastic bottle and put it aside; dab some hot glue in the centre of the useless CD, picture 3.

  3. Put the cut up top part of the bottle upside down

on the glue and hold it

tight. Leave it for some time to have a tight grip; picture 4.

  1. After a few minutes, put some lime stones and soil in the bottle, picture 5.

  2. Insert your favourite plant well inside the soil, picture 6.

  3. Your new pot from the bottle is ready, picture 7.

  4. You can give it a completely different look by either applying acrylic colours or spray painting it; however, if you leave it that way it still looks great.
