QUETTA: Balochistan Governor retired Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai on Tuesday said that in order to modernise the agriculture, fisheries and livestock sectors the number of water reservoirs must be increased in the province.

“We can overcome malnutrition by building new water reservoirs,” he said, adding that apart from government initiatives on food and nutrition, there was an urgent need for cooperation from national and international organisations.

He was talking to Rebekah Bell, country representative of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations in Pakistan.
