RAHIM YAR KHAN: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) management has decided to resume flight operation from Rahim Yar Khan from March 8.

According to PIA sources, initially two weekly flights from Karachi to Rahim Yar Khan [and back] will operate on Mondays and Thursdays from March 8. Both flights will operate from Karachi at 8am and from Rahim Yar Khan at 10:40am. Its one-way minimum promotional fare will be Rs8,862 including all taxes.

PIA District Sales Manager Abdul Ghaffar Shahzad told this correspondent that operation from RYK had been suspended on March 23, 2020 due to Covid. He said after successful operation [for Karachi], flights for Lahore and Islamabad will also be started. Before suspension of the operation, the one-way fare was almost Rs11,000.
