Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health Dr Faisal Sultan has confirmed while speaking to the media in Islamabad that he has been vaccinated with China's Sinopharm vaccine for protection against Covid-19.

He requested healthcare workers and all those eligible to receive the vaccine to "come forward and get vaccinated because it is important for your protection and to prevent the spread of the disease".

"All approved vaccines in Pakistan have very high protection against serious disease so you should get whatever vaccine is available," said SAPM Sultan.

He also urged the people to stop listening to misleading and false information about the vaccine that might create hesitation in getting vaccinated.
