By-polls for NA-75, PP-51 today

SIALKOT: The stage is set for by-polls for NA-75 (Daska) and PP-51 (Wazirabad).

NA-75 fell vacant after the demise of PML-N MNA Sahibazada Syed Iftikharul Hassan Shah.

Nine candidates are in the race, and of them, the main candidates are PML-N’s Nousheen Iftikhar Shah and PTI’s Ali Asjad Malhi. In the 2018 general elections, PML-N’s Iftikharul Hassan won the seat with a lead of 40,042 votes.

GUJRANWALA: The ECP has completed arrangements for PP-51 by-polls.

There are 253,949 voters in the constituency. Up to 162 polling stations and 423 polling booths have been established.
