LONDON, Oct 11: Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner Hurricane Run, 2-1 favourite for the Breeders’ Cup Turf race at Belmont Park in New York on Oct 29, has been coughing and will miss the race.

The French-trained colt also won the Irish Derby earlier this season for owner Michael Tabor from the Coolmore empire.

Trainer Andre Fabre said in a statement in the Racing Post: “Hurricane Run coughed last Friday and again over the weekend and will miss his intended engagement in the Breeders’ Cup.”—Reuters
