PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan inaugurated the high court’s institution and copying branch in Charsadda the other day, stating that steps would be taken to facilitate litigants and the bar.

The chief justice visited the district judiciary, Charsadda, where he was welcomed by the office-bearers of Charsadda District Bar Association.

Speaking on the occasion, the PHC chief justice spoke of the rich values cherished by the local District Bar Association and emphasised to follow the footsteps of the luminaries. He highlighted the role of the bar as integral part of the system of administration of justice.

He visited the judicial complex and inspected different courtrooms. He appreciated the facilities being provided to the litigant public and directed that litigants should be facilitated on priority.

Chief Justice Qaiser Rashid also chaired the meeting of the judicial officers and appreciated the efforts of the district judiciary. He asked the judges to come up to the expectations of litigants, the bars and their seniors.

He laid emphasis on equipping the courts with modern information and communication tools.
