Pakistan has recorded more than 5,000 recoveries over the past 24 hours — the highest in about two months — according to the official Covid portal.
The country recorded 7,993 recoveries on December 16, 2020.
With 5,536 new recoveries, the total number has now reached 523,700. About 93 per cent of Covid-19 cases have recovered in Pakistan.
