ISLAMABAD, Jan 21: The Election Commission on Monday asked the citizens who have attained the age of 21 years or more on Jan 1 to ensure that their name is in the voters’ list.

An EC official in an announcement asked the eligible citizens to cooperate with the enumeration staff by filling the forms and returning those before Jan 30.

The spokesman said that those desirous of getting themselves enrolled should contact the local assistant registration officer or assistant election commissioner if enumeration staff had not visited any house.

He said the name of union councils or census block number could be left blank but name, father’s/husband’s name, age, national identity card number and address of the voter should be correctly written.—Reporter
