GWADAR: Bullet-riddled bodies of three people, two of them brothers, were found in Shanzani area along the Coastal Highway on Tuesday.

Majid Akbar, Jameel Sahibdad and Hameed Sahibdad were going to Pasni on Monday after being acquitted of murder charges by a sessions court in Gwadar, but they went missing. Their bullet-riddled bodies were found on Tuesday.

According to police, the sessions court acquitted the three of the murder charges after allegations against them were not proved.

Pasni police said the murder of the three people was the result of old enmity.

They arrested Nasir Omar, Asif Omar and Saleem Rafiq who had been nominated in the FIR along with five others by the brother of the deceased.

“Weapons and a car used in the killing of the three people have been seized,” a senior police officer told Dawn.
