LAHORE, Oct 10: The Lahore Race Club has donated rupees one million towards the President’s Relief Fund set up for the victims of Saturday’s deadly earthquake which killed hundreds of thousands of people.
The decision to this effect was taken in a meeting chaired by the LRC chairman Tariq Aziz on Monday.
It was also decided that it was the first tranche and the second instalment would be decided soon.—A.G.
