SOPs in hospitals

Published February 8, 2021

I WORK as a trainee doctor at one of the general medical wards in Mardan Medical Complex. During work hours, I see a heavy rush of people in both male and female wards with zero care for coronavirus-related SOPs.

The hospital management also does not care about due implementation of the SOPs and allows people to roam freely in and around the hospital premises that is considered a red zone in this pandemic.

The district administration is in slumber as well because hospitals all over Mardan are overcrowded with irrelevant people.

The higher authorities need to implement a policy to curb people’s unnecessary presence in and around hospitals.
