Traders’ help sought

GUJRANWALA, Oct 10: Punjab Governor Khalid Maqbool has said that the provincial government has set up a Rs100 million fund for the quake affectees and appealed to the business community for donations.

Addressing a meeting in Circuit House here on Monday, he announced that about 50 truckloads of relief goods would be sent to affected areas shortly.

He constituted a committee in Gujranwala under the supervision of DCO Khalid Masood to arrange assistance.

PROMOTION: Gepco chief-executive Brig Saifullah Khalid has said that the company employees in promotion zone will be promoted before Eidul Fitr and the process to this effect will be completed expeditiously.
