Boat loaded with smuggled liquor seized

ISLAMABAD: The Collectorate of Preventive, Customs, Karachi, has seized a boat loaded with smuggled liquor.

A statement issued by the Federal Board of Revenue said that the Karachi Customs carried out an operation on the coastal belt near Dam/Sonmiani, Balochistan, in continuation of the drive against smuggling.

A strike boat of the Customs intercepted smugglers while they were unloading smuggled liquor from the boat. As many as 1,500 to 2,000 bags containing bottles of smuggled liquor were seized. An inventory of the smuggled items is being prepared.
