Citizen Portal

I HAVE been residing for over two decades at street 37, sector F-11/3 in Islamabad. Since this street is a long one, some vehicles are driven through the street at high speeds, leading to accidents.

Over the years, I have sent many requests to the civic authorities about the need for a speed-breaker in the vicinity. All such efforts have been in vain. I lodged a complaint on the Citizen Portal (No. 121406) on Nov 28 last year. Since then I have been receiving replies to the effect that the complaint has been passed on to the department concerned and a survey team will visit shortly. That has never happened. Is there somebody who takes notice of such things?
