Six-wicket haul for Bernard

KARACHI, Oct 8: Andre Bernard produced a superb spell of bowling to claim six for 28 as KGA Gymkhana outclassed Danish CC by 10 wickets in the ninth Danish Trophy Ramazan cricket tournament at the KGA Ground on Saturday.

Batting first, Danish CC were all out for 127 with Wasim Hanif and Adeel Ahmed each contributing 42.

KGA Gymkhana required only 14.2 overs to reach their target of 128 with openers Jonathan Rodrigues (70) and Colin Gonsalves (50) remaining unbeaten.

SUMMARISED SCORES:

DANISH CC 127 in 20 overs (Wasim Hanif 42, Adeel Ahmed 42; Andre Bernard 6-28, Imran Bashir 2-19);

KGA GYMKHANA 128-0 in 14.2 overs (Jonathan Rodrigues 70 not out, Colin Gonsalves 50 not out).

Monday’s fixture: Pak Independent CC v Danish CC.
