Nazim vows to solve problems

BANNU, Oct 8: District Nazim elect Azam Khan Durrani has said that all out efforts would be made to solve the problems of the people. Speaking at a rally in Mewa Khel Surrani, he said ad hocism would be discouraged and projects of public interest would be completed.

He said development packages would be sought from the federal and provincial governments for the people of the district.

Speaking at another gathering, he said various development schemes would be initiated with the support of tehsil nazims and naib nazims and councillors.

Mr Durrani said basic amenities, including gas, electricity and clean drinking water, would be provided to all areas of the district.

Work on the Khalifa Gul Nawaz Memorial Hospital would be expedited, he said.—APP
