Students demand facilities

SKARDU, Oct 7: Students of Khaplu College held a protest demonstration against lack of facilities and shortage of lecturers in the college. According to the students, they have no teachers for computer science, Pakistan Studies, Pakistan history and civics since the commencement of the college, due to which students were suffering. They were also facing shortage of books in the library, they said.

Moreover, there were not enough rooms, furniture and laboratory equipment, they added.

The students urged the authorities to fulfil their requirements immediately.

Meanwhile Assistant Commissioner, Khaplu, Syed Mohammad Hadi has assured them that he would convey their demands to the higher authorities.
