Dutch envoy meets Soomro

ISLAMABAD, Oct 7: The Ambassador of Netherlands, Mr William Andreae called on Chairman Senate Mr Mohammadmian Soomro at his residence here on Friday.

According to the press release, during the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed.

The envoy also discussed forthcoming visit of Pakistan Senate delegation to Netherlands from October 10-13 at the invitation of the President of the Senate of Netherlands.

He expressed the hope that the visit of Pakistani parliamentary delegation would enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

The Senate chairman said that Pakistan and Netherlands enjoyed close friendly relations and both countries were cooperating in their fight against terrorism.
