NOWSHERA/DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Three people were killed and 10 others injured in road accidents in Nowshera and Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday.

In Nowshera, two labourers were killed when their motorcycle collided with a tractor in Nowshera Kalan area.

The victims, identified as Hazarat Hussain, 35, and Iqbal, 50, both residents of Kalanjer, Risalpur, were going on a motorcycle to a brick kiln for work when the incident occurred. They died on the spot.

Rescue personnel shifted the bodies to the DHQ hospital, Nowshera.

The Nowshera Kalan police registered the case and have started investigation.

In Dera Ismail Khan, a woman was killed and 10 other people suffered injuries when a passenger coach overturned after its tyre burst on Dera-Bhakkar road on Tuesday.

A police official confirmed that the coach overturned after its tyre burst. As a result, one woman, a resident of Babar Paka village of Paroa, was killed, while 10 others, including women and children, were injured. All of them belonged to the same family. They injured were taken to a local hospital.
