KARACHI: 22 profiteers fined

KARACHI, Oct 7: As many as 22 shopkeepers and pushcart vendors selling items at rates higher than the officially notified were fined under Price Control Act and four persons arrested on violating Ramazan Ordinance in Saddar Town on Friday.

These actions were taken during the visit of caretaker and TMO Saddar Town Mukhtar Hussain along with Town Officer Municipal Regulation Qamar Ahmed Khan and police contingent to various localities of the town including Pakistan Chowk, Mohammad Bin Qasim Road, Burnes Road, Regal Chowk, Preedy Street, Empress Market, Mir Karam Ali Talpur Road and Daudpota Road.—PPI
