KARACHI, Oct 5: Three-day Karachi phase of Pace Attack Fastest bowling 2005 contest will be held at National Stadium under floodlights on Thursday at 8.00pm. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in collaboration with a beverage company is conducting the competition in a bid to dig out some budding but talented pace bowlers.

Speed-gun will be used to determine the speed and three best pacemen would be picked after the competition.

Former Test pacemen Jalaluddin, Ehteshamuddin, Rashid Khan and Anwar Khan will supervise the contest. All pace bowlers interested to appear in the event should report at National Stadium in a proper cricket dress.

Similar speed contests were also conducted in Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Abbottabad, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan and Hyderabad.—APP
