ISLAMABAD, Oct 4: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Ejazul Haq has said that the government did not want to interfere in the affairs of seminaries as they were functioning in a peaceful and organized manner.
He was addressing a special session of Dastarbandi on Tuesday at the Madressah Taleem-ul-Islam in the Toheedabad town of Haripur district.
He said the government has decided to eradicate extremism and terrorism from the country. He also stressed the need for modern education along with religious education.—Online
