KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday said that 13 patients of Covid-19 died overnight and 1,419 more cases emerged when 10,081 tests were conducted, raising the tally to 173,014.

In a statement issued from CM House, he said that the death of 13 more patients during the past 24 hours lifted the death toll to 2,924 constituting 1.7 per cent death rate.

Mr Shah said that 10,081 samples were tested which diagnosed 1,419 cases that constituted 14 per cent current detection.
