According to police sources, Aamir Khan had a family dispute with his wife Saima. On Thursday, on the pretext of meeting relatives, he took her out on a motorcycle. When they reached a deserted place on the way, Khan allegedly murdered Saima with a sharp-edged weaponand threw her body in sugarcane fields.

After initial investigation and interrogation, police officials suspected Khan’s involvement and took him into custody. During further interrogation, he confessed to murdering his wife.

On his identification, police on Saturday recovered Saima’s body from the fields, registered a murder case and arrested Khan. The body was sent to hospital for post-mortem.
