MBBS entrance test today

LAHORE, Oct 1: The University of Engineering and Technology is holding the entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS first year classes at five centres in the province on Sunday (today) at 9am.

As many as 12,802 candidates will appear in the two-and-a-half-hour multiple choice questions (MCQs) entrance test. The test will be held simultaneously at Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad and Bahawalpur.

The students will be asked to attempt 220 MCQs — 60 MCQs from physics and chemistry, 70 from biology and 30 from English.

The FSc and entrance test results would carry 65 per cent and 35 per cent weightage, respectively.

The UET has advised the candidates to reach the examination centres at least one hour before the commencement of the test.

According to the admission board, there are 1,895 seats for MBBS and BDS in 10 medical and dental colleges in the province.
