LAHORE: A PML-N delegation, led by Punjab President Rana Sanaullah, called on former premier and PPP leader Yousuf Raza Gilani at his residence here on Saturday and finalised strategy regarding the Nov 30 ‘power’ show of the PDM in Multan.

The PPP is hosting this event. Both the PML-N and PPP leaders discussed preparations in this regard and said they would not allow the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf government to take the cover of Covid-19 to create hurdles in the rally.

Sanaullah assured Gilani that the PML-N would fully support the PPP to make the PDM power show a success.

Meanwhile,PML-N Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the ‘selected’ government’s ‘rented mouthpieces’ were desperate to distract the media and public attention after the discovery of ballot paper theft from Gilgit-Baltistan.

In a statement, Marriyum said the statements by these ‘rented’ spokespersons were proof of the fact that the PTI knew it had already lost the GB polls.

“Their panic shows that the PML-N will win. The flood of people in Gilgit-Baltistan for PML-N has decided who has the most strength at the ballot.”

She said the people would vote for their prosperity and GB’s development by voting for the PML-N.
