LAHORE, Sept 29: A fine contribution of 30 points by Zoneeza Zaka helped Punjab University Teaching Departments (PUTD) win the Punjab University Inter-collegiate swimming championship at the university pool on Thursday.

In all the winners scored 40 points.

Garrison Post Graduate College, Lahore Cantt finished runners-up while Government College, Gulberg, Lahore was third.

50m freestyle: M Afridi (Garrison College), Zoneeza Zaka (PUTD), Amna (Queen Mary).

50m Backstroke: Zoneeza Zaka, M Afridi, Asheena (Fine Arts College);

50m breaststroke: Zoneeza Zaka, Sara (Gulberg), M Afridi.

50m butterfly: Zoneeza Zaka, M Afridi, Shafaq (PUTD);

100m freestyle: M Afridi, Latafat (PUTD), Zoneeza Zaka;

100m backstroke: Zoneeza Zaka, M Afridi, Asheena.

100m butterfly: M Afridi, Zoneeza Zaka, Shafq;

100m breaststroke: Latafat, Zoneeza Zaka, M Afridi.
