Fresh trials for Lahore teams

Published September 29, 2005

LAHORE, Sept 28: Trials to select Lahore teams for the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy will be held for the second time at the LCCA ground on Saturday at 11.00am.

Despite the fact that last week’s trials were not completed because of rains, the PCB-nominated selection committee, headed by Maazullah Khan, submitted the teams to the PCB after finalizing it on the basis of performance in the inter-district senior championship.

However, Aamir Hayat Rokri, the LCCA president, raised objections over the selection and demanded that fresh trials be conducted.
