SAHIWAL, Sept 28: The Punjab PML leadership has served notices on various Sahiwal office-bearers for violation of party discipline.
Reports said PML secretary-general Chaudhry Zaheeruddin served notices on district president Malak Jalal Din Dhakkoo, city president Rana Aamir Shahzad and six other office-bearers for allegedly opposing the party’s nominated candidates Naveed Aslam Lodhi for the district nazim and Chaudhry Shabbir Ahmed Ali for the tehsil nazim.
They have been asked to submit their reply within a week failing which their party membership will stand cancelled.
