Kiran grabs two golds

KARACHI, Sept 27: Pakistan’s top swimmer Kiran Khan grabbed two golds and a bronze while Sana Wahid a bronze in the on-going 4th Islamic Women’s Games being held in Tehran, according to reports on Tuesday.

Kiran landed golds in the 200 metre individual medley and the 100 metre backstroke. She earlier had snatched a bronze in the 200 metre freestyle.

Sana collected a bronze in 50 metre butterfly.

Pakistan relay team captured silver medal in the 4x100 metre freestyle and a bronze in the 4x200 metre freestyle.

Zeenat Perveen earlier won Pakistan’s first gold in shot put.

Carla Khan, however, had to make do with a silver medal after losing to her Malaysian rival in the squash final.
